So I have been a big fan of Samsung and have had them since the S3 way back when. However, when I got the new S21 5G I was not impressed by it and it’s abilities over my “old” Galaxy S9 so I ended up taking it back to Best Buy.
That’s when I started to research options for other phones and I finally landed on the Google Pixel 4a 5G and the reviews were outstanding. So I took the leap and made my way back to Best Buy because I figured worst case scenario I could return the phone and continue to use my S9. Well, needless to say I’ve been nothing but impressed by the phone! It has great signal most of the time and I’m on Verizon but am considering using Google Fi since the phone is designed to work great on the Fi Network being a Google phone. In any case, this phone does everything great. Super fast and at half the price of the Samsung S21 5G I had previously purchased.
Multitasking is no problem even though it has 6GB of memory (vs 8gb in the Galaxy, but my S9 had only 4GB). I typically have up to 15 applications loaded and my chrome browser is currently opened to about 80 different tabs and still runs flawless.
Migrating everything from my old phone to this phone from my S9 was a breeze, when I first turned on the Pixel it had an option to migrate my contacts and my apps over to the new phone which I did right at Best Buy on their store WiFi.
I have used this phone for about a month now and I’m still impressed by it. It integrates perfectly with Android and the app store as it’s made for Google. Doesn’t have any bloat ware that you get with other phones and carriers. So it was bare bones stock Android, and it is running Android 11, plus gets all new updates as soon as they are made available by Google. I’ve since added a ton of apps, all of which run buttery smooth. I use this phone for both my personal life and my start up business. (Currently using it to write this blog).
